AN ACT ESTABLISHING A COMPLAINT PROCEDURE FOR PROPERTY OWNERS WHEN BLASTING CAUSES DAMAGES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 541 of the general statutes be amended to require the Division of Construction Services within the Department of Administrative Services to (1) establish complaint procedures for property owners to report damages to property due to the use of explosives and blasting agents, and (2) amend the existing regulations to address modern blasting techniques.
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Division of Construction Services to establish complaint procedures for property owners when property is damaged by blasting and amend the existing blasting regulations.
