AN ACT PROHIBITING THE STORAGE OR DISPOSAL OF WASTE FROM HYDRAULIC FRACTURING AND NATURAL GAS AND OIL EXTRACTION ACTIVITIES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 22a-472 of the general statutes be amended to extend the existing prohibition on the storage and disposal of waste from hydraulic fracturing and to prohibit the storage and disposal of waste from natural gas and oil extraction activities.

Statement of Purpose:

To extend the existing prohibition on the storage and disposal of waste from hydraulic fracturing and to prohibit the storage and disposal of waste from natural gas and oil extraction activities.
