AN ACT REQUIRING A HEARING WHEN A TOWN APPLIES FOR AN EXCEPTION TO THE MINIMUM BUDGET REQUIREMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That subsection (d) of section 10-262i of the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Education to conduct a hearing when a town submits an application for an exception to the minimum budget requirement.
Statement of Purpose:
To require a hearing when a town applies for an exception to the minimum budget requirement.
