AN ACT CONCERNING THE SET-ASIDE PROGRAM AND THE PERCENTAGE OF CONTRACTS RESERVED FOR MINORITY BUSINESS ENTERPRISES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 4a-60g of the general statutes be amended to require that half of the state contracts set aside for minority business enterprises be reserved for minority business enterprises that are owned by members of a minority.
Statement of Purpose:
To reserve a percentage of state contracts for minority business enterprises owned by members of a minority.
