AN ACT CONCERNING TUITION WAIVERS FOR MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That sections 10a-77, 10a-99 and 10a-105 of the general statutes be amended to extend tuition waivers for state higher education institutions to members of the armed forces currently serving on active duty who are Connecticut residents and who have completed at least two years of military service, not including training.

Statement of Purpose:

To provide tuition waivers for state universities and community colleges to Connecticut residents serving in the military.
