AN ACT CONCERNING MOTOR VEHICLE INSPECTORS AS PEACE OFFICERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 53a-3 of the general statutes be amended to include an inspector of motor vehicles in the Department of Motor Vehicles, who is certified under the provisions of sections 7-294a to 7-294e, inclusive, of the general statutes, while exercising authority granted under section 14-163c, 14-225, 14-267a or 14-386 of the general statutes.
Statement of Purpose:
To include motor vehicle inspectors under the definition of a peace officer.
