AN ACT CONCERNING ABSENTEE VOTING BY CERTAIN TOWN OFFICIALS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 9-135 of the general statutes be amended to permit any town clerk, registrar of voters and their staff to vote by absentee ballot at a primary, election or a referendum, provided such persons are attending to the duties of the town clerk or registrar during all hours of voting.

Statement of Purpose:

To permit certain election officials and their staff to vote by absentee ballot.
