AN ACT CONCERNING IMPLEMENTATION OF THE MONEY FOLLOWS THE PERSON II DEMONSTRATION PROJECT.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That subsection (d) of section 17b-370 of the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Social Services to (1) submit a plan concerning the establishment and administration of the money follows the person demonstration project to the joint standing committees of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to human services and appropriations not later than July 1, 2011, and (2) implement such plan, if approved by said committees, not later than January 1, 2012.

Statement of Purpose:

To require implementation of the Money Follows the Person II program by January 1, 2012.
