AN ACT CONCERNING MUNICIPALITIES AND LANDLORD-TENANT DISPUTES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 47a-42 of the general statutes be amended to require a landlord to store or dispose of the unclaimed possessions and personal effects belonging to an evicted tenant or occupant of residential property.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide relief to municipalities regarding landlord-tenant disputes.
