AN ACT REQUIRING A VALID MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR'S LICENSE IN ORDER TO REGISTER A MOTORCYCLE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to provide that no person may register a motorcycle unless such person is in possession of a valid operator's license that contains a motorcycle endorsement, at the time of such registration.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the number of persons who drive a motorcycle and do not have a motor vehicle operator's license that contains a motorcycle endorsement.
