AN ACT REQUIRING A FEASIBILITY AND IMPACT STUDY OF CONVERTING HIGH-OCCUPANCY VEHICLE LANES TO "TRUCKS AND BUSES ONLY" LANES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the Department of Transportation, and other agencies, organizations or persons appointed by the chairpersons and ranking members of the joint standing Transportation committee, shall conduct a feasibility and impact study of the conversion of high-occupancy vehicle lanes to "trucks and buses only" lanes.
Statement of Purpose:
To alleviate congestion and increase safety on the state's highways by separating larger and smaller vehicles.
