AN ACT CONCERNING VACCINE DISTRIBUTION.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 19a-7f of the general statutes be amended to allow health care providers to procure childhood vaccine from sources other than the Department of Public Health.

Statement of Purpose:

To allow physicians and other health care providers to opt out of the mandatory state vaccine procurement program and have the choice of where to obtain childhood vaccine, including the private market.
