AN ACT CONCERNING COMPENSATION OF CAMPAIGN STAFF UNDER THE CITIZENS' ELECTION PROGRAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 157 of the general statutes be amended to limit the portion of a grant received from the Citizens' Election Fund that may be used for compensation of campaign employees, consultants and paid volunteers.
Statement of Purpose:
To limit to a fixed percentage of any grant under the Citizens' Election Program the amount that may be used to compensate campaign staff.
