AN ACT DIRECTING THAT A PORTION OF THE SALES TAX BE RETURNED TO THE TOWN WHERE COLLECTED.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to provide that one-tenth of one per cent of the sales tax go to the town where such tax is collected.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide that a portion of sales tax revenue be directed to the town where it is collected.
