AN ACT CONCERNING LOCAL EARLY CHILDHOOD COLLABORATIVES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 184c of the general statutes be amended to require the Office of Early Childhood to collaborate with local early childhood collaboratives in the implementation of early care and education and child development programs at the local level and to ensure the continued allocation of state resources to local early childhood collaboratives that are currently in place.

Statement of Purpose:

To require the Office of Early Childhood to collaborate with and provide resources to local early childhood collaboratives.
