AN ACT CONCERNING COMPLAINTS ABOUT PATIENT CARE IN HOSPITALS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 368v of the general statutes be amended to require hospitals to (1) make a hospital representative available at all times to receive complaints concerning patient care, and (2) prominently display, and make available to patients, contact information for the hospital representative who is designated to receive such complaints.
Statement of Purpose:
To require hospitals to provide contact information for hospital staff who will receive complaints from patients.
