AN ACT PROHIBITING UNOPPOSED CANDIDATES FROM RECEIVING GRANTS UNDER THE CITIZENS' ELECTION PROGRAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 9 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit unopposed candidates from receiving grants under the Citizens' Election Program.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that the Citizens' Election Program is used only for opposed candidates.
