AN ACT CONCERNING THE PREVENTION OF FRAUD IN STATE ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to require applicants for state-administered assistance programs to provide documentation concerning assets and all sources of income.

Statement of Purpose:

To prevent fraud in social services programs.
