AN ACT PROHIBITING THE ALLOCATION OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS FOR ATHLETIC FIELDS OR PLAYGROUNDS CONSTRUCTED WITH CRUMB RUBBER.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the State Bond Commission from allocating bond funds for the installation of athletic fields or playgrounds constructed with crumb rubber on any school grounds, municipal park or state-owned property.

Statement of Purpose:

To prohibit the State Bond Commission from allocating bond funds for the installation of athletic fields or playgrounds constructed with crumb rubber on any school grounds, municipal park or state-owned property.
