AN ACT INCREASING THE AMOUNT OF THE BOTTLE DEPOSIT AND INCLUDING WINE BOTTLES UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE BOTTLE BILL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to increase the amount of the deposit on beverage containers subject to the bottle bill from ten cents to fifteen cents and to include wine bottles under the provisions of the bottle bill.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the amount of the bottle deposit to fifteen cents and to apply the bottle deposit to wine bottles.
