AN ACT CONCERNING UNION STEWARDS AND COMPENSATION FROM THE STATE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit collective bargaining agreements that result in a state employee receiving compensation from the state during the period of time that such state employee is performing in his or her capacity as a union steward conducting union-related business.
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit the use of state funds to compensate union stewards for work performed on state time.
