AN ACT INCLUDING POLITICAL "ROBO" CALLS ON THE "DO NOT CALL" LIST.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to ban the use of an automatic dialing-announcing device for the purpose of placing a telephone call or playing a message that promotes the success or defeat of a political campaign, candidate or party to a telephone number appearing on the Department of Consumer Protection's "do not call" list.
Statement of Purpose:
To include political "robo" calls on the "do not call" list.
