AN ACT CONCERNING THE RESPONSIBLE GROWTH OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 8-30g of the general statutes be amended to exempt any municipality from the affordable housing land use appeals procedure if such municipality demonstrates substantial progress over regular intervals toward the ten per cent affordable housing threshold.

Statement of Purpose:

To promote responsible growth among Connecticut's municipalities.
