AN ACT CONCERNING THE NOTIFICATION OF THE EXPIRATION OF AN EDUCATOR'S PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 166 of the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Education to notify a person who holds a certificate issued under said chapter, regardless of whether such person is employed in a public school or a private school, that such certificate will expire in eighteen months.
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Department of Education to provide notification to all persons that their professional certification will expire in eighteen months.
