AN ACT ESTABLISHING A COMMISSION ON THE STATUS OF PROTECTED CITIZENS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to consolidate the Commission on Aging, Permanent Commission on the Status of Women, Commission on Children, African-American Affairs Commission, Asian Pacific-American Affairs Commission and Latino and Puerto Rican Affairs Commission into six divisions of a newly created Commission on the Status of Protected Citizens with one executive director and six division directors.
Statement of Purpose:
To find efficiency within government in order to provide better service to the citizens of the state within existing resources where such services are already being provided.
