AN ACT INCREASING THE FEE FOR COPYING MUNICIPAL PUBLIC RECORDS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 1-212 of the general statutes be amended to increase the fee charged for copying municipal public records from fifty cents per page to one dollar per page.

Statement of Purpose:

To increase the fee charged for copying municipal public records in order to set the fee closer to the actual costs of providing reports and records to the public upon request.
