AN ACT PROVIDING INCENTIVES FOR OWNERS OF LARGE AMOUNTS OF LAND TO INCREASE CARBON SEQUESTRATION ON SUCH PROPERTY.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to provide incentives for owners of large amounts of land to increase carbon sequestration on such property.

Statement of Purpose:

To provides incentives for certain landowners to increase carbon sequestration.
