AN ACT CONCERNING CERTIFICATION FOR SCHOOL SERVICE PERSONNEL WHO HOLD VALID CERTIFICATION IN ANOTHER STATE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 166 of the general statutes be amended to provide an alternate route to certification for school guidance counselors, school social workers, school psychologists, school nurses and other relevant school service personnel who hold valid certification in another state.

Statement of Purpose:

To provide an alternate route to certification for school service personnel who hold valid certification in another state.
