AN ACT CONCERNING THE TIME FRAME FOR PROVISION OF A COMPLETED INSURANCE APPLICATION FORM BY AN INSURANCE PRODUCER TO AN APPLICANT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to require an insurance producer or such producer's designee to provide a copy of the completed insurance application form to the applicant not later than five business days after such applicant applies for coverage, for such applicant's review and approval.
Statement of Purpose:
