AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TASK FORCE TO STUDY THE REGIONALIZATION OF SPECIAL EDUCATION SERVICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That part V of chapter 164 of the general statutes be amended to establish a task force to conduct a study regarding the ways in which local and regional boards of education can regionalize the provision of special education and related services, including the provision and improvement of school transportation services for students who are receiving special education and related services.
Statement of Purpose:
To create a task force to study the feasibility of regionalizing special education services and transportation.
