AN ACT CONCERNING THE CALCULATION OF STATE EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT INCOME.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 66 of the general statutes be amended to require state employees' retirement income to be calculated using the base salary of such employees and that such calculations shall not include any amounts earned as a result of overtime.

Statement of Purpose:

To revise state employee retirement calculations to exclude overtime payments.
