AN ACT REQUIRING THE PROVISION OF CERTAIN DOCUMENTS PRIOR TO THE EXECUTION OF A HEALTH CARE PROVIDER CONTRACT.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require that any documents, addenda or attachments referred to in a contract between a health care provider and an insurer or other entity that provides health care benefits be provided to such provider in written form prior to the execution of the contract.

Statement of Purpose:

To require that any documents, addenda or attachments referred to in a contract between a health care provider and an insurer or other entity that provides health care benefits be provided to such provider in written form prior to the execution of the contract.
