AN ACT ELIMINATING THE PROPERTY TAX.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the property tax be repealed and that the general statutes be amended to authorize municipalities to adopt such revenue sources as the elected officials of such municipalities may choose.
Statement of Purpose:
To repeal the state mandate forcing municipalities to rely on property taxes.
