AN ACT CONCERNING THE COMMISSION ON FISCAL STABILITY AND ECONOMIC GROWTH.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Commission on Fiscal Stability and Economic Growth, established pursuant to section 250 of public act 17-2 of the June special session, shall continue to refine the recommendations included in its final report issued on March 1, 2018, and to address any other matters relevant to such commission's mission that were not included in such final report. The members of said commission at the time of the issuance of such report shall continue to serve and any vacancy shall be filled by the appointing authority. The chairpersons and ranking members of the joint standing committees of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to appropriations and state agency budgets, commerce, finance, revenue and bonding, and planning and development, or their designees, shall serve as ex-officio members of said commission. Not later than January 1, 2019, the commission shall submit a revised report, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, with specific legislative recommendations to said joint standing committees.

This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
