AN ACT LIMITING THE ABILITY OF LANDLORDS TO REQUIRE ANIMALS TO BE DECLAWED.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to limit a landlord's ability to require a tenant's pets to be declawed.
Statement of Purpose:
To limit the ability of landlords to require declawing and to demonstrate that there are alternatives to this cruel practice.
