AN ACT ALLOWING CHILDREN TO ACCOMPANY THEIR PARENTS TO MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS UNDER THE MEDICAID PROGRAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 319v of the general statutes be amended to permit a child of a recipient of benefits under the Medicaid program to travel with the child's parent using nonemergency medical transportation to the parent's medical appointments.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow a parent who is a recipient of Medicaid benefits to take their child on medical appointments.
