AN ACT ESTABLISHING A MUNICIPAL OPTION TO PROVIDE A PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTION FOR ALL VETERANS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 12-81f of the general statutes be amended to establish a municipal option to provide the property tax exemption specified in subdivision (19) of section 12-81 of the general statutes to all veterans, not just those who served in time of war.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide municipalities with the option of expanding the property tax exemption to all veterans, not just those who served in time of war.
