AN ACT CONCERNING MUNICIPAL PROJECTS AND THE PREVAILING WAGE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to exempt any municipal project not utilizing federal or state funding from the prevailing wage requirements set forth in part III of chapter 557 of the general statutes.

Statement of Purpose:

To facilitate municipal public works projects by exempting certain projects from the prevailing wage requirements.
