AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE CRIME OF HOMICIDE BY SALE OF AN OPIATE CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to create a new crime of homicide by sale of an opiate controlled substance.
Statement of Purpose:
To hold drug dealers criminally liable for the sale of drugs that result in the death of the person who purchased the drugs from the dealer.
