AN ACT CONCERNING FACTORS CONSIDERED WHEN MAKING JURY SERVICE DETERMINATIONS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 884 of the general statutes be amended to provide that a person's prior postponement of jury service shall not prejudice the person from having his or her prior jury service considered if the person is again selected for jury service.

Statement of Purpose:

To allow a person to have his or her prior jury service considered when a person is selected for subsequent jury service.
