AN ACT CONCERNING A NEW EMPLOYERS' TAX CREDIT.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to provide a new employer tax credit for a corporation or pass-through entity that, after July, 2011, either locates or relocates the operations of a business enterprise in Connecticut, incorporates or otherwise first organizes in Connecticut, or expands its operation of a business enterprise in Connecticut, and employs at least ten new qualified employees.

Statement of Purpose:

To encourage job creation in the state.
