AN ACT CONCERNING THE CHRONIC GAMBLERS TREATMENT AND REHABILITATION ACCOUNT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 12-818 of the general statutes be amended to require the Connecticut Lottery Corporation to transfer an amount of money equal to the amount of money used by the corporation to advertise the purchase of lottery tickets to the chronic gamblers treatment and rehabilitation account established pursuant to section 17a-713 of the general statutes.
Statement of Purpose:
To fund the chronic gamblers treatment and rehabilitation account from lottery revenue to improve access to counseling services for chronic gamblers.
