AN ACT CONCERNING SCHOOL BULLYING LAWS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 170 of the general statutes be amended to include cyberbullying in the definition of bullying, improve and strengthen school districts' policies on bullying, including timelines for reporting and investigating allegations of bullying, and make such policies available on school district web sites, create safety plans for students who are the victims of bullying, collect data relating to incidents of bullying at schools and establish a state-wide "No Name Calling Day" at schools.
