AN ACT CONCERNING THE STATE'S CONSOLIDATED PLAN FOR HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. Section 8-37t of the general statutes is repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective from passage):

The Commissioner of Housing, in consultation with the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority, shall prepare the state's consolidated plan for housing and community development in accordance with 24 CFR Part 91, as amended from time to time. The consolidated plan for housing and community development shall set forth the state's housing development and housing resource allocation goals for affirmatively furthering fair housing in accordance with 42 USC 3608(e)(5) and shall report on progress made toward such goals in the previous five years.

This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
