AN ACT CONCERNING THE CERTIFICATION OF CERTAIN STATE BUILDINGS AS ENERGY EFFICIENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require that state buildings that are constructed or renovated meet the standards of Leadership In Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) to be certified at the Silver level rather than just LEED certified.
Statement of Purpose:
To require a higher level of energy efficiency for state buildings that are constructed or renovated.
