AN ACT CONCERNING ELIGIBILITY TO PURCHASE HEALTH INSURANCE THROUGH THE CONNECTICUT HEALTH INSURANCE EXCHANGE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to specify that individuals with a family income greater than one hundred thirty-three per cent of the federal poverty level but not more than two hundred per cent of the federal poverty level and who are not eligible for a federal government-sponsored program are eligible to purchase health insurance through the Connecticut Health Insurance Exchange.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide state residents with choices for their health care coverage.
