AN ACT ESTABLISHING A MORATORIUM ON THE ENFORCEMENT OF PUBLIC NUISANCE ACTIONS AGAINST PERSONS WHO FEED FERAL CATS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish a moratorium on the enforcement of public nuisance actions against persons who feed feral cats until the Commissioner of Public Health adopts regulations establishing the grounds for such enforcement actions.
Statement of Purpose:
To create standards concerning the definition of public nuisance as it relates to the feeding of feral cats.
