AN ACT CONCERNING THE TREATMENT OF CERTAIN NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS UNDER THE TRANSFER ACT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to provide nonprofit organizations that receive title from bankruptcy court or from a municipality with the same rights and protections afforded municipalities under the transfer act.
Statement of Purpose:
To encourage nonprofit organizations to remediate brownfields.
