AN ACT CREATING INCENTIVE GRANTS FOR SCHOOL DISTRICTS THAT REGIONALIZE SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION SERVICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 172 of the general statutes be amended to establish a grant program for local and regional boards of education to collaborate in the purchase of vans and regionalization of school transportation services.
Statement of Purpose:
To create an incentive grant program that provides funds for school districts to purchase vans and regionalize school transportation services.
