AN ACT CONCERNING TAX INCREMENT DISTRICTS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 105b of the general statutes be amended to require each municipal legislative body that has established a tax increment district to establish a tax increment financing oversight board to provide oversight and management of the tax increment district and recommend action to the municipal legislative body and fiscal authority of the municipality.

Statement of Purpose:

To promote the proper, orderly and consistent development of tax increment districts.
